I was actually was aiming for about -3*F/-2.8*R camber but they were taking to long and since I will get a new alignment in the next 6 months I figured this would do. I am by NO MEANS a suspension guru but speaking purely from my own limited experience, I recently got a "performance" oriented alignment and while it might be aggressive by the average alignment shops standards it is conservative for all out handling:Ĭars pre-alignment numbers: (these numbers are probably weird because I replaced the alignment bolts the day before and eyeballed getting them back to the position of the original bolts)Īs you can see I had a good amount of negative camber in the rear but very little in the front and I THINK this contributed to be initial understeering problem when making sharp turns with "good momentum" but now it is so much better! The understeer issue is essentially gone and the little amount of "instability feeling" is gone and inspires confidence in every turn. I am only 29 yrs old and I don't understand this fixation with the extreme negative camber and stretched tire but hey to each their own. That has to be photoshoped! That's just asking to die a fiery death if you drive a car with that much negative camber at highway speeds. ![]()
